Waters We Love

The Bitterroot River is our home water and brings everything the western angler dreams about, from small pocket water up the west fork to classic undercut banks of the main river, its majestic beauty will impress you. 

Most of this river is best fished from a raft. However certain times of year from Bell-crossing down to the Florence bridge, our rental skiff or drift boat is key. The West Fork is a great solo destination with our PAC 900 pontoon, because of the access to public boat ramps and ease of wade fishing with the right flows.

The Blackfoot River stretches from its winding meadows near Lincoln to the town of Bonner, situated just east of Missoula. Originating in the mountains outside Lincoln along the continental divide, this river meanders through diverse and picturesque landscapes for 130 miles before joining the Clark Fork east of Missoula. Renowned through Norman Maclean's "A River Runs Through It," the Blackfoot offers a stunning setting for your river excursions. With some awesome rock formations, canyons, rapids, boulders, and abundant pocket water, your journey along this river will be filled with excitement just do't forget to pull over and wade fish every once in awhile!.

The Clark Fork River is Montana's largest watershed and with all that power and beauty it holds some of the states most impressive fishing opportunity's. With 200 miles of river to explore its one that should definitely be on your list of go-to's.

The south fork of the Flathead is your quintessential Montana pack and float trip. Located in the largest wilderness area in the lower 48, Bob Marshall Wilderness and the flathead river will leave you wanting another trip year after year.

If you are the lucky recipient of the float lottery, then my hats off to you, your about to embark on the float of a lifetime. The Smith is a gem in world of trout rivers, having been on the permit system for quite awhile now you'll find a river full of willing trout that love to eat flies and scenery only available to the lucky few.
